Lift and Horizon is editorially independent. We are not the former Channel Gliding Club, and we make no claim to its operations or records. Our subject is British gliding culture, first club visits, and sky literacy. We do not sell flights, memberships, or equipment.

We use publicly available sources such as British Gliding Association overview pages and individual club websites. We do not claim measured keyword volumes, SERP research, or first-hand flying experience unless it is verified and clearly stated. When we describe thermals, ridge lift, or mountain wave, we do so as observation prompts, not as operating instructions. We do not prescribe weather limits, launch procedures, or aircraft handling.

We avoid prices, event schedules, access rights, medical advice, and prescriptive installation procedures. Planning checklists, comparisons, and visual literacy are appropriate. We link readers to current BGA information for rules and to clubs for local restrictions.

Any synthetic or illustrative image is labelled as such. It is not documentary evidence of a person, place, or event. We do not use fake experience or superlatives. Our voice is precise, approachable, and concrete.

We correct errors when supporting evidence is provided. We identify the article, the passage, and the source. We do not invent contact channels. We do not run offsite campaigns. We publish distinct recent articles, not product promises.
